This job doesn’t require a high degree. They install, fix, repair and maintain elevators, escalators, moving walkaways and other lifts. They usually work in machine rooms, crawl spaces and sometimes they are exposed to heights in elevator shafts. They are paid well as their job comes with heavy responsibility and duty.




Electric power line installers and repairers

They are responsible for installing and repairing the wiring used in electric power system. This can include building poles and transmission of towers. They usually work in outer environment. And in case of emergency or accidents with power supplies they have the responsibility to fix.



Petroleum pump system operators, refinery operators, and gaugers

They control petroleum refining system, their specialties tells specification of their work. As petroleum refinery is a huge industry many technical jobs are option with maximum a diploma or a vocational training program. Their task is to keep machines cool, maintain them and run them properly.



Transportation inspectors

Transportation inspectors usually spend their life with automobiles, rails, planes, ships making sure all safety measures are met. They examine everything from freight and rail vehicles to the cargo being carried in different transportations.
